No. By default everything is calculated on your device and nothing is uploaded. The only exception is the optional AI reader, which sends a statement's text to be read only after you explicitly choose it, and does not store it.
For parcels held more than 12 months, the 50% CGT discount is applied. Current-year capital losses are applied before the discount, in the order that leaves you better off, and parcels are matched first in, first out.
No. CGT Mate is built for Australian share trades. Cryptocurrency has different rules and is not supported.
No. CGT Mate gives general information only and does the arithmetic for straightforward buys and sells. It flags what a statement cannot show, like dividend reinvestment, ETF cost base adjustments and corporate actions, for you or your accountant to finish. Always check the figures before you lodge.
