CGT calculator for Stake trades
Work out the capital gains on your Stake shares for your Australian tax return. Free, and your trade data never leaves your browser.
How it works with Stake
Export your Stake trade confirmations or transaction history (a CSV or PDF), then paste or drop the file into CGT Mate. In Stake, you can download your trade confirmations or transaction history from your account. It reads the trades and produces your capital gains summary, all in your browser, so nothing is uploaded.
What it works out
- Parcel matching (first in, first out) across all your buys and sells.
- The 50% CGT discount on parcels held more than 12 months.
- Capital losses applied before the discount, in the order that minimises your tax.
- A downloadable CSV schedule for your return or your accountant.
Honest about what a statement can show
CGT Mate does the straightforward buy and sell maths, and flags what a Stake statement cannot show, dividend reinvestment (DRP) parcels, ETF and managed-fund cost-base (AMIT) adjustments, and corporate actions like splits and mergers, rather than guessing. Add those by hand if they apply to you.
